The curation of an exhibition shapes the viewers' perspective of the objects presented. Through the context of a unique presentation, everyday objects lose their inherent banality. Our perception changes, giving them a new meaning and letting us question their value.
Plastic theater changes our established point of view, where volumes and colors are predominant. With a low-tech screen we highlighted the shapes and patterns of plastic objects. From forgotten plastic pieces in a second hand shop to abstract art.
"Still Live / Still Alive " exhibition was curated by Nathalie Du Pasquier and presented at ELAC in 2014.
