Designed for the IKEA seasonal collection VINTERFEST 2018. The holiday season is all about celebrations, and every person and family—prepare them in different ways, from cozy breakfasts to glamorous dinners and inspiring table settings.

Tumbler and stemmed glass

The traditional-looking facetted shape not only provides an eye-catching detail, with the light reflecting and distorting giving a beautiful glimpse for the festive season. It also makes the glass comfortable to hold and the conical shape fits nicely in all hands. The affordable design was enabled by using the same mold for the tumbler and the top of the stemmed glass, where the stem was added to the tumbler as a second step to create the stemmed glass. Suited for festive occasional table settings and also perfect for everyday use.

The shape was inspired by the simple depiction of a flower, with soft lines and curves. They could be straight from a fairytale, bringing a warm festive mood to your table setting all year round.
